I needed to switch my apple calendar to ISO-8601 (this is mostly for numbering weeks in the year, which I use for invoicing and project planning), and when I did so, Timelime automatically sent me a notification explaining that Timelime didn’t support the ISO-8601 calendar and not all features would be active until the Apple calendar settings returned to Gregorian. Turns out I use several different calendar apps on my Mac and I realized that Apple and Google’s calendar protocols didn’t align (Gregorian vs ISO-8601). I was satisfied even before I reached out to the developer with a question. It does everything I need it to do and has more features than I expected. I highly recommend checking this out of you need a fully featured time tracker with devs who pay attention to the finer details which can make or break an app like this!Īlright, here’s the deal: I’m one of those who tend to only write reviews if something is REALLY bad or something is REALLY good. I have become so much more effecient because I use this app to clock in and out of breaks or whatever tasks I've setup with it. The sync between phone and desktop works really well and there's no subscription fee! You buy it you own it, and relative to other tracking apps the price is good on this. The charts are quick to customize and focus on specific tasks for your tracking pleasure. After every day I get my daily breakdown visually clear and in an instant with these. The reporting on this app, pie charts, bar and line graphs, very clean and effective. It has many deep features like allowing you to track work past midnight and count it as the same day (many apps don't implement this well), and great flexible options for rounding tracking to your desired grid. This app ticks so many boxes it's not even funny. I use this to manage my time in my small business at home.
